Renewable Energy Generation

With the changing power scenario throughout the world, TPL has its firm focus on non-conventional sources of energy benefitting the society and the world as a whole. TPL has been able to utilize the benefits of using Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) to generate electricity (Directly and via pellete form) alongwith diversification into Solar Energy also.

MSW is usually burned at special waste-to-energy plants that use the heat from the fire to make steam for generating electricity or to heat buildings. Producing electricity is only one reason to burn MSW. Burning waste also reduces the amount of material that would probably be buried in landfills. Solar energy is used worldwide and is increasingly popular for generating electricity or heating and desalinating water. Solar Energy can be harnessed directly from the sun, even in cloudy weather. Concentrated solar power (CSP), uses mirrors to concentrate solar rays. These rays heat fluid, which creates steam to drive a turbine and generate electricity. CSP is used to generate electricity in large-scale power plants.
